Our Work
online high school diplomas
Helping students in Afghanistan get accredited high school diplomas online.
why it’s needed
The travel ban closed the door to US high schools
Presidential Proclamation 10949 colloquially known as the travel ban of June 2025 stopped many of our students in Afghanistan from making the journey to schools in the US. ASRF had already secured significant full-ride scholarships at private schools across the country which we were no longer able to bring students to.
Bringing students to high school abroad is no longer an option since the United States was the only option before the travel ban and students have now aged out.
how we help
Studying online with Acellus Academy
When Kabul fell and girls were no longer able to attend school, many had graduated from 9th or 10th grade. ASRF is working with Acellus and volunteers to help them study online and ultimately receive a US diploma to be able to get into any school in the world.
01
Study online

02
Earn a US diploma
Needed to get into any school in the world.
03
Move on to university
Once they secure a diploma, they’ll be eligible for us to move them to universities in other countries.
We need both funding and volunteers to make online high school accreditation happen for our students still in Afghanistan.
