A country in economic decline
Afghanistan is in a massive economic decline with few jobs for the men, women no longer being allowed to participate in the workforce and some families with fathers who are banned from working because of their association with the previous government.
All told, it makes it difficult for some of our students to study when they can do video calls back into Afghanistan and see their little brother is literally starving.

We do our best to send $100-300/month to families in need so our students can concentrate on their studies.
