Afghanistan is suffering mightily under the Taliban.

Almost four years into their rule, the great majority of our student’s families are in need of support, having burned through their savings and with the economy in shambles.  Now that the US has stopped food shipments, which used to account for ½ of the food donations to the country, more and more of our student’s families are in need of help.  We currently feed 40 families every month.  Like one student put it to me, ‘it’s hard to study when my little brother is starving’.  ASRF also supports emergency medical care in Afghanistan, such as it is, without which family members would almost surely succumb.  You, the supporters of ASRF, have allowed us to forward between $4000-6000/month to allow countless dozens of people to be fed and cared for medically so our students can study without that terrible worry.  Please consider helping us help them, who are trying so hard to reach their dreams, worry much less.
